NovaRO wouldn't be the server it is without its international staff. We may be from different backgrounds and timezones but together we feel it is our duty and collective mission to bring you the best Renewal gaming experience possible. The administrators are the core members of the staff who are in charge of the day-to-day running of, and work in many ways to improve NovaRO. They are the staff with the highest-level access to the server, the website and the forum. However, the ability to recover and create items, zeny and monsters is exclusive to [GM] Nova and the Lead Developer [GM] Tokei.
I'd best describe my story as an ex-WoE guild leader who, after many disappointing experiences as a player, decided to create my own Renewal Ragnarok server. While I started with no coding background, I quickly fell in love with the project, and now actively work towards improving NovaRO every day. It makes me so incredibly happy to know that while I may not have gotten to enjoy the RO experience I wish I got, we're able to provide such an experience to our players.
Hello, friends. Panic here. It was Nova who invited me to this server shortly after its launch. I rolled with it and like him, learned and adapted as we went. I never imagined that the little project with no more than a handful of players would one day make it this far. Today, my tasks are some of the most varied among staff and if I had to describe what I do, I would say I dabble in everything. Greetings from Miles! I was accepted into the team as a Helper, doing small craft projects for the forums. Such endeavours continue to be a big passion of mine, although today I also assist with anything that falls between support tickets and hat descriptions. Working alongside the many incredibly talented and ambitious people continue to be a great source of inspiration to me but more than anything, I want to pass on the joy of playing this game.
Game Masters (GMs) are the members of staff who are in charge of helping players and enforcing the server rules. As GMs are allowed to continue playing the game on separate player accounts, their power is limited to tasks that don't require handling confidential information, such as replying to support tickets on the forum, providing in-game assistance and answering player's questions. In addition, many Game Masters hold events and some also choose to help in the development process by testing new features and bugs and even write headgear quests.
Hi! It's me, Tokei. I'm a programmer in charge of all heavy-duty coding. When I'm not microwaving tea or washing dishes, I modify source code, verify and fix bugs, and test and port content from kRO. I even fulfill Nova's crazy requests! When I can, I also spend time in-game, where I like to help players while eating onion soup.
What's up? I'm another retired WoE leader who spends way too much time on the details. I make it a point to meticulously go over all the details in the projects I'm involved in order to continue to improve NovaRO as much as possible. While I'm the project lead for all things related to Monster Hunting, I'm also involved in most, if not all of the content that makes it into NovaRO. Oh, I also make maps, so if you ever enter a map and find yourself bumping into Crows in strange places, you're in one of my maps. #CrowBro
