    Monster Hunting

    • Changed Nysori's Ice Trap meteors to be circular, rather than square.
    • Extended to total duration of Nysori's Ice Trap to give more time before the meteors begin to ramp up quickly.
    • Improved Great Monster's Rage Generation and Decay rates.
    • Farcaster now has a limit of 2 per life. This means that dying resets your Farcaster count.
    • Max Potion now has a limit of 2 per life. This means that dying resets your Max Potion count.
    • Sorcerer Insignias now have a 7x7 area of effect instead of 3x3.
    • Stonehard Skin (Hagalas Rune) no longer grants MDEF.
    • Refresh (Nosiege Rune) now has a 3s duration.
    • Peuz set combo (100% bonus damage on Wind Cutter and Sonic Wave) has been halved.
    • Updated most Monster Hunting Roles' in-game skill descriptions to better match their intended behavior.
    • Sanctum now gives immunity to knockback while inside its area.
    • Reworked Climactic Fury's damage formula.
      • For more information, refer to the in-game skill description.
    • Fixed a bug with Climatic Fury's Fury stacks.
    • Fury stacks can now only be generated by the party member with the most amount of Aggro (red icon).
    • Release Bombring, Set Sleepring, Set Dizzyring and Megaton Bombring had their damage formulas improved.
      • For more information, refer to the in-game skill description.
    • Megaton Bombring now applies a 15 second Stun to any target hit.
    • Poring Counters will no longer reset on death.
    • Any Stun, such as the new Megaton Bomb, inflicted in large monsters will now increase damage from all sources by 15% for the duration of the stun.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes Great Monsters weren't carveable at the end of an instance.
    • Fixed an issue with Nysori's Sleepring targetting.
    • Fixed an issue where Nysori's Ice trap was doing damage immediately.

    • Fixed an issue where Shock Traps and Flash Bombs were interfering with Nysori's mechanics.

    • Fixed an issue that caused Nysori's Charming Allure to instantly pull players towards their doom.
    • Players affected by Charming Allure are now immune to damage during the pull.
    • Fixed an issue where the Training Chamber's Monster Hunter mode was not applying all changes properly.
    • Fixed an issue which kept removing the Weekly Shop Potion effects when boarding the Airship.
    • Fixed an issue with Venom Impress and Raid modifications not being applied properly.
    • Scoutfly effect duration increased from 30 seconds to 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
    • Monsters marked with Scoutflies will receive additional damage.
    •  Community Suggestion Added a "Monster Templates" feature to the Training Chamber, that sets all the dummy's values to Great Monster values.
    •  Community Suggestion Great Monsters now display a MvP marker once defeated.
    •  Community Suggestion Large fishes are now worth 1,500 calories (up from 1,000).
    •  Community Suggestion Removed the nerf on Kihop.
    •  Community Suggestion Increased Unlimit's effectiveness from 180% to 225%.
    • Doubled the effects of the following Shadow Gear pieces inside Monster Hunter: 

    Features

    • Updated a number of mobs to use our fixed Monster ATK formula.
      • This means a lot of mobs are going to hit a LOT harder.
    • The Endless Tower/Endless Cellar Weekly Quest has been updated so that the credit for finishing the Endless Cellar instance is obtained through speaking with the NPC at the end of the instance.
    • Reduced the item requirement on the Black Devil's Mask quest.
    • Increased the EXP for the Magma F3 Eden quest.
    • Renamed the VM auras from the PVP tournament to Glorious Aura.
    • Fixed an issue where the MH setting in the Training Chamber wasn't working properly.

    • You can now craft converters using the new recipe with the Sorcerer NPC on the Main Office.

    • Added missing savepoint NPC icons and adjusted several locations.

    • Fixed an issue where Hell's Plant wasn't applying card effects correctly.

    War of Emperium and Battlegrounds

    •  Siege Commissioners Battlegrounds skill damage reductions have been increased from 50% to 65%. (Same change as WoE)
    •  Siege Commissioners Removed the Asura Strike nerf that had been applied to Battlegrounds.
    •  Siege Commissioners Edda Biolabs weapons and their enchants are disabled in BG and WoE. (They will likely be enabled a month from now)
    •  Siege Commissioners Updated Mardol to give it three entrances.
    •  Siege Commissioners Doram's Spirit of Life will now give its full damage bonus inside BG and WoE regardless of the Doram's current HP.
    • Implemented a Skill queuing system. Users with high ping can expect to see an improvement in their skill spamming.
      • This is an experimental system that will be applied to PVM once it is stable enough.
    • Updated the WoE1 rotation to repeat the following pattern, changing castle once a month:
      • Cyr -> Mardol -> Andlangr

    Nice patch but i still wait combo Celine Brooch+ Ribbon or Survivor Combo Set :(

    Does that mean all this time up until now those mobs have had the completely wrong ATK formula for years now? I just have to ask since this feels very sudden and out of the blue.

     

    Also, is this "fixed" formula how it's meant to be on official servers? Because saying "our" makes it sound like it's something custom rather than official based.

    That Coelacanth is hitting really hard hard now. like 30k Frostdiver and Waterball with 20k ea hit. That's like 10x higher.
