    Features

    • Added a new feature to the Hat Effect Genie: You can now attach a hat effect to your costume garment for 6,500 Nova Points.
      • When you select the hat effect to use in your garment, it will vanish from your inventory and instead become an enchantment on the costume garment. When this happens, your garment becomes account-bound. You can revert this process by purchasing a washing service from the NPC.
      • This system comes with the following restrictions:

        • You cannot add more than one effect to a garment costume.

        • Garments with a pre-existing effect cannot take on additional effects.

      • Developer's Note: Please note that this service is for cosmetic purposes only. There are no stats involved, nor do we have any plans for adding costume stat enchants at this time.

    • Homunculus now gains 50% EXP from mob kills, increased from 25%. Quest EXP was unchanged (10%).
    • Fixed the navigation menu that should prevent @navi lagging and giving weird directions.
    • Updated dead cells around NPCs to make the behavior more consistent. They will show on /dead.
    • Reimplemented @bingbing and @bangbang.
    • Implemented a new Warlock alternate outfit.
    • Vending characters that were disconnected due to reaching max zeny on hand will now receive a RODEX explaining why they were disconnected.

    • Added an "Open another?" option to these bundle items:
    • You can now add multiple sets of items simultaneously to @aloottype.
      • Example usage: @aloottype +2|+6|+4
    • Modernized most of the Main Office class shops functionalities, item list, prices and Discount to better represent their official variants.
      • Developer's Note: Most items will end up being cheaper, even with the lack of Discount, while a few others will be slightly more expensive.
    • Slightly altered the item list sold by the Tool Dealer and updated its prices to match with the new Main Office shops item prices.
    •  Community Suggestion Added a 3-to-1 exchange for the 17.1 Weapon Enchantment seller.
    •  Community Suggestion Added an option to buy, up to 10 times per week, Golden Angel Idols for 35,000,000 zeny.
      • Developer's Note: As those Golden Angel Idols are the same as the ones from the Endeavor Token exchange, we had to remove the option to refund Golden Angel Idols, as players would be able to revert Zeny purchases to Endeavor Tokens.
      • The 10-limit resets upon taking the Weekly Quests or Alternate Weekly Quests.

    •  Community Suggestion Brought back the old animation for Gate of Hell.
    • Warm Wind now takes priority over Pyroclastic when determining weapon element.
    • Fixed Doram's Power of Life ranged bonus stacking multiplicatively instead of additively.
    • Fixed Doram's Auto Attack with Soul Attack counting as melee.
    • Fixed Eira's Xeno Slasher and Eraser Cutter fixed cast time.
    • Increases in critical damage from any sources now apply to skills at half their original value.

        As an example, hitting Garronath with Maze Trap means it will take 1% more damage from Fire elemental attacks, and deal 1% less damage with Fire elemental attacks (such as the Fire Spit ability). It is worth to note that Sorcerer's Elemental Change provide similar effects to these traps and cannot stack, instead replacing each other effects when cast on the same monster.

      • Developer's Note: This patch is focused on narrowing the difference between viability in classes and, with Rangers already being a prominent class, this JPI change worked against the purpose of this patch. The following changes are applied in conjunction with the JPI changes.

      Enchant Deadly Poison

        By grouping and streamlining their effects to something more straightforward, and making them easier to cast by removing their fail chance, cast time and after cast delays, we're excited to see these 6 different abilities have a use, even with minor effects.

      Sura

       
      Spoiler

      Steel Body

      • Increased the walking speed up to a max of 7.14 cells per second, up from 5.00 cells per second.
      • Increased the damage reduction up to 25%.
      • Now is only able to be cast if the user has the Tank role.
      • Developer's Note: In efforts to promote tank diversity, the movement speed reduction from the ability was a bit too harsh for the MH environment. Paired with a slight boost to its defensive capabilities, this was an adequate change for the long-term of tanking.

       

      Earth Shaker
      • Now applies a new status to targets hit with this ability, increasing their Short-Ranged Physical damage received from all sources by 2% or 5% at max level for Suras, with a duration of 30 seconds.

       

      Ride the Lightning

      • Now applies a new status to targets hit with this ability, increasing their Long-Ranged Physical damage received from all sources by 2% or 5% effectiveness at max level for Suras, with a duration of 30 seconds.
      • Developer's Note: As mentioned previously, this effect does not stack with Spore Explosion's new Long-Ranged bonus. If both effects are used, both classes will gain their full 5% effectiveness, while retaining the 2% bonus for the rest of the party.

      • Players can now dispose of their Pawpal Albums via the Item Crusher in the main office.
      • Fixed an issue with the boxing NPC where Illusion Long Mace was in the armor category.
      • Fixed a visual issue when walking with the Ancient Horn headgear.

      War of Emperium and Battlegrounds

      • Regular War of Emperium now requires players to be at least level 175.
      • Drastically altered limitations and customizations in Siege game modes.
        • Developer's Note: You can read more about the thought process on the latest dev post on the #pvp-announcements channel on the NovaRO PVP Discord server.
        • New Changes: (Applied to Siege in general unless stated otherwise.)
          • Increased Siege Resistances from 65%/28% (Skill and Auto Attacks) to 85/50%.
          • Items and skills which ignore reflect now have a cap of 30%.
          • General Fixed Cast Time reduction now has a 0.7 seconds cap. Proc chances, such as Zaha Doll, ignore this limit and stack.
          • Mystical Amplification has been disabled.
          • Old Headgear Special Enchants higher than level 5 are counted as if being level 5.
          • Unlimit's CD reduction from Cecil's Memory enchant is disabled.
          • Enabled the use of the Genetic Syrup Potions (Red, Blue and Gold).
          • Enabled the use of the Golden X. It is still affected by the 30% cap listed above.
          • All items that previously did not have a cooldown will now have a 5-second cooldown.
            • Exceptions: Mega White Potion, Mega Blue Potion, Violet Potion, WoE Blue Potion, BG Light Blue Potion, and their boxes, All Genetic Syrup Potions, Cursed Fragment, Butterfly Wing, Yggdrasil Seed, Ancilla, Pertz Runestone, Box of Gloom, Green Potion, Panacea and Aloevera.
          • Added Proximity Resistances to regular WoE and Draft WoE.
            • Developer's Note: This system provides extra damage reduction if the player has guild members nearby.
            • For each guild member on a 15x15 area, you receive 2% less damage, up to 30% (or 15 guild members nearby). This reduction is applied after all other damage calculations.
        • Effectively removed all previous skill and item customizations NOT listed below (everything listed here was already in place pre-patch):
          • General
            • MVP Card tiering system.
            • All players receive an innate 20% after cast delay reduction bonus.
            • Identify and Magnifier are disabled.

            • Sropho Card only works with autoattacks.

            • DEF and MDEF bypass from Purified Knight's Shield is disabled.

            • Any disabled Shadow Gear remains disabled.

            • Baby characters are considered Medium size, including baby Dorams.

            • Vellum Flail applies Critical Wounds instead of No Recovery and has its chance reduced.

            • Endeavor Token consumables are kept disabled, aside from Gin Sacred Draught.

            • Homunculus S are considered Demi-Human.

            • Critical Wounds lowers the effectiveness of healing received by 10% per level instead of 20%.

            • Man Hole cannot be used repeatedly to trap targets already under its effect.

            • Doram-race characters are considered Demi-human/Player race instead of Brute.

            • Summoners are allowed to wear WoE Robe set.

            • Spirit of Life gives its full damage bonus (100%) regardless of current HP.

            • Silvervine Root Twist has a non-reducible 2-second cooldown and does not refresh its duration if used on an already rooted target.

            • Detect removes Shadow Form at 100% success rate.

            • Shadow Form is removed instantly by Ruwach, Sight and Phantom Menace.

            • Fallen Angel does not consume 'coins' and is usable with any/no weapon equipped.

            • Anti-Material Blast has a fixed 100% chance of applying its debuff.

            • Land Protector removes Escape's Ankle Snare unit.

            • Cursed Circle can be removed by Dispell.

            • Cursed Circle cannot be cast on top of the Emperium.

            • Knuckle Arrow will no longer move the caster to the target.

            • Gates of Hell damage is altered.

            • Stasis blocks the usage of all skills except Status Recovery, and can be removed by Status Recovery.

            • Comet does not apply the Magic Intoxication status effect.

            • Curse of Wicked Souls status effect increases Shadow Property damage for Soul Reapers only.

            • Soul Reapers will no longer lose souls on death.

            • Devotion automatically transfers the status effects Defender, Auto Guard and Reflect Shield to the target, without requiring a recast.

            • Any skill delays.

            • 2980.png - Evil Gloves [1] Spider Web and Kimi's Mind Confusion will remain disabled.

            • 2189.png - Mad Bunny [1] physical reflect and Magic Mirror will remain disabled.

          • Battlegrounds
            • Every player receives the skill Freedom.
            • All gear break chances are halved.
            • Weapons with refines greater than 15 will be treated as +15 inside Battlegrounds.

            • Negative status effects last a maximum of 20 seconds.

            • Vacuum Extreme is disabled.
            • Performer Chorus skills can be used without being in the same party.
            • Invulnerable Siegfried no longer requires both performers to be on the same party.
            • The SP Drain effect of Illusion Immaterial Sword is reduced (10% less chance to drain and 10% less drain amount).
            • Soul Reaper's receive Soul Linker Spirit status at spawn.

          • War of Emperium
            • Barricades receive only 20% of the damage / healing inflicted.

            • Players take double damage from any source while casting Emergency Recall.

            • The SP Drain effect of Illusion Immaterial Sword only applies through auto attacks.

            • FCP has a 7-cells cast range.

            • Crazy Weed's Cooldown cannot be reduced to less than 4 seconds.

            • Kaite increases physical damage taken by +50% instead of +400%.

            • Mind Breaker is disabled.

            • Algiz Runestone functionality.

          • Draft WoE
            • Poem of Bragi applies to the caster's entire guild instead of just the party.
            • Full Chemical Protection is not removed by death.
      • Telma now sells Siege Golden X, Concentrated Blue Syrup Potion and Concentrated Gold Syrup Potion.
      •  Siege Commissioners MVP Card Tiering changes:
        • Moved Naght Seiger Card to Tier 0 (Banned from any Siege game mode).
        • Moved Angry Ktullanux to Tier 0 (Banned from any Siege game mode).
      • All 17.2 MVP cards are now considered Tier 0 (Banned from any Siege game mode), pending Commissioners discussion:
