    The level 200 expansion has finally arrived to NovaRO! The job level has also increased from 65 to 70 for all third and extended classes, with the exception of Summoners who went from 55 to 60. This update brings 3 new dungeon areas: Einbech Mine Floor 3 (level 180+), Ancient Odin Temple (level 180+) and Abyss Lake Floor 4 (level 190+). A detailed description of each dungeon and related equipment ensues.
     
    Einbech Mine Dungeon

    The entrance to Einbech Mine Floor 3 is located at ein_dun02 16/250 (top left of the 2nd floor) and requires a level of 180 or above. The currency used for this dungeon are Dynites. You obtain Dynites by exchanging ores you gather from the mobs inside the dungeon. The mobs drop 5 types of ores:

    • 25809.png Redium
    • 25810.png Rindium
    • 25811.png Odium
    • 25812.png Purdium
    • 25813.png Whidium

     

    By combining 1 of each of the 5 ores with Elmen (einbech 149/257), you get a 25814.png Dynite.

    Ancient Odin Temple Dungeon

    The entrance to Ancient Odin Temple is located located at odin_tem03 276/236 (middle of the 2nd floor) and requires a level of 180 or above. Mobs inside Ancient Odin Temple drop Odin Relic at a low rate. Each relic gives a random Ancient Odin equipment.

     

    To enchant Ancient Odin equipment, you'll need to speak with Susan Grey (hu_in01 97/322). She's inside the Hugel Weapon building, on the second floor. 

    • Normal Enchant cost: 3 Angel's Dreams and 500,000 zeny.

     

    The final enchant (2nd slot) gives you the to option to Special Enchant the Ancient Odin Equipment only if the item meets a refinement threshold. 

    • Special Enchant cost: 3 Odin's Signets.
    • Clergy's Manteau and Clergy's Boots require a refine of +7 or above.
    • All Soutanes require a refine of +9 or above.

     

    The Odin's Signet is a drop that is added to the following mobs in Ancient Odin Temple.

    • Holy Frus
    • Holy Skogul

     

    To reset enchant on Ancient Odin equipment, there are two choices:

    • Normal cost: 500,000 zeny which has a 30% chance to fail (the item is not destroyed on failure).
    • Expensive cost: 1 Odin's Signet and no chance of failure.

    The entrance to Abyss Lake Floor 4 dungeon is located located at abyss_03 91/110 (middle of the 3rd floor) and requires a level of 190 or above. The Abyss Lake equipment are crafted using loots obtained in the entire Abyss Lake dungeon (including previous floors). However, the important items are mostly obtained in the new level.

     

    To craft the items, you'll need to speak with Redhead (hu_in01 95/322). Here are the required materials:

    Squad Bonus:

    • We have made a new and improved version of the party-drop system!
    • Players will be rewarded a bonus multiplier on their drop rate if they play in a party size smaller than or equal to the Squad Bonus value.
    • The Squad Bonus party value will always be defined by the number inside of the parenthesis.
    • The multiplier and the Squad Bonus size are adjusted based on the difficulty of the particular content.
    • Bonus multiplier will decrease with each additional party member beyond Squad Bonus size.
    • You will be able to view the exact drop rates for different party sizes through the @mi command in-game.
    • All three new dungeons coming with this update will use this Squad Bonus feature.

     

    Einbech Mine Dungeon

    • Squad Bonus (3) for all ore drops (Redium, Rindium, Odium, Purdium, Whidium and Dynite).

     

    Ancient Odin Temple

    • Squad Bonus (4) for Odin Relics and Odin's Signet.
    • The following items were removed from the Odin's Relic:
      • Angel's Dream
      • Rune of Darkness
      • Soft Feather
    • The combo refine threshold for the three-piece combo was reduced from 27 to 23.
    • The special enchant option for the Clergy Manteau and Clergy Boots was reduced from +9 to +7.
    • The Cash Shop Silvervine Fruit cost to the better enchants was changed to a new item, Odin's Signet. This item is a Squad Bonus drop from Holy Frus and Holy Skogul.
    • The enchants can be re-rolled individually rather than as a whole using the Weapon's Master.

     

    Abyss Dungeon

    • Squad Bonus (6) for Dragon Orbs and Dragon Treasures and Large Monster Bones.
    • The Large Dragon Bone was added as Squad Bonus drops at a low rate to Bone Ferus and Bone Acidus, rather than being a MVP-only drop.
    • The following items were removed from the Dragon Treasures:
      • Small Dragon Bones
      • Dragon Tail
      • Dragon Scale
      • Dragon Skin
      • Dragon Canine
    • The combo refine threshold for the three-piece combo was reduced from 33 to 29.
    • The refine requirements for the Dragon Scale Hood and the Dragon Scale Boots was reduced from +7/+9/+11 to +5/+7/+11.
    • The drop rates of Small Dragon Bones was slightly reduced.
    • Bone Detardeurus now drops 3 Large Dragon Bones rather than 1.
    • Added an alternative method to get Stable Dragon's Power by trading Turbulence's Dragon Power instead. 

     

     

     

    Monster Hunting

    •  Community Suggestion Reverted Unlimit's nerf inside of the Savage Coast.
    •  Community Suggestion Decreased the cooldown of Golem Soul from 180 seconds to 100 seconds and increased it's duration from 30 seconds to 40 seconds inside of the Savage Coast.
    • Lowered the damage boost from Enchant Deadly Poison inside of the Savage Coast.
    • Lowered the damage boost from Light of the Sun from 25% at level 5 to 10% at level 5.
    • Fixed a bug which caused Great monsters to ignore the Aggro system if certain conditions were met.
    • Edited the damage Garronath receives during Festering Winds: Magical / Ranged damage from 125% to 110% and Melee damage from 165% to 145%.
    • Edited the damage reduction from Garronath's Wind Shield from 25% to 35%. 
    • Lowered the duration in which Nysori's Aqua Missile follows a target both in and out of Enrage.
    • Edited the activation mechanics of Ice trap and Mystical Crystals while Nysori's enraged.
    • Increased the heal from failing Nysori's Ice Trap.
    • Added a pulsing damage area around the outer ring of Nysori's Ice Trap.
    • Edited the utility role's Evasion mastery increase of Poring counters when successfully evading damage to only increase the counter if the damage source is from a Great Monster.
    • Release Bombring, Set Sleepring and Set Dizzyring will now only increase their respective counters if the bomb successfully hits a Great Monster.
    • Applied diminishing returns to the utility role's Megaton Bombring's stun.
      • It will decrease in duration by 5 seconds each subsequent hit after the first for the remainder of the fight.
    • Decreased the damage bonus from the damage role's Battle Trance from 10% to 7%.
    • Decreased the damage bonus from the damage role's Find Weakness from 10% to 3%.
    • Fixed a bug where Tank role was dealing 25% less damage instead of 15% from the passive part of Sentinel skill.
      • Updated in-game description of Sentinel to reflect this fix.
    • Fixed an issue regarding damage taken during Enranged to all temperaments
    • Fixed an issue that caused Great Monsters to Teleport too often while low in health.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes Scoutflies effect does not apply correctly.

      Star Emperors and Soul Reapers aren't 3rd classes. It's tempting to consider them as such, but to be a third class, you must be part of the 1st class group:

      • Acolyte
      • Swordsman
      • Magician
      • Archer
      • Merchant
      • Thief

       

      Each of the classes can then go to either a 2-1 or a 2-2 class. Then each of them can be a 3-1 or 3-2 class (which is why we call them 3rd classes; they are the evolution of the 2nd classes).

       

      Star Emperors and Soul Reapers do not belong to any of these groups, they are called Extended classes, similar to Kagerou/Oboro and Rebellion. I hope this helps and clarify things a little! For more information, you can visit the official Korean Ragnarok Online page regarding classes:

      On the topic of extended classes and kRO, does the server have a plan for implementing the Rebellion's Scarf [1]?  Currently the only item on official servers that effects rebellion's primary damage skill.

      This is a jRO item, so I regrettably have to say we currently do not have any plans on implementing it, or any other jRO-based gear for that matter. Sorry!
