    Changes from 2023-05-30 restart

    • A new, alternate version of The Sunken Sands has been implemented. You can enter the new instance by talking to Arthur (jup_fild03,319,117). All the general Sunken Sands behavior applies, with the following changes:
      • Four party members of distinct classes (i.e. no repeats) are allowed inside.

      • Primordial/Pestilent affinities are unavailable.

      • Mob density is doubled.

    •  Website Updated our full installer and patcher (again).
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Hero Badge and Hero Boots -LT enchant combos.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Poenitentia Enchants not being applied. (You will need to patch)

     

    Tomb of Remorse

    • Implemented the Tomb of Remorse instance, a sequel to Ghost Palace. Fight through monsters, Tiara and Sakray to obtain Poenitentia Weapons and their enchants.
      • Level Required: 220, Cooldown: 1 day. You can enter the instance by talking to Remorseful Princess (dali02,78,116).
      • Poenitentia Weapons are available for purchase for 700 Mineas each, through Remorseful Marquis shop (dali02,85,68).
      • Each player can only obtain rewards from this instance one time per run. Multiple clients will not receive multiple rewards.
    • Alterations:
      • Mineas is now unbound (officially account bound).
      • The enchant catalysts Sakray's Wrath (Physical) and Sakray's Regret (Magical) are no longer sold (officially sold for 50 Mineas + 100,000z). Instead, they now drop from any instance mob at a 1% rate.
      • Condensed enchant catalysts are now sold for 20 Mineas + 450,000z (officially 250 Mineas + 150,000z).
      • Sakray and Tiara each have 5 different 1% chances of dropping 1 Mineas.

      • Entering the instance will automatically grant 4 quests: Kill Sakray, Kill Tiara, Collect Memories and Collect Fragments of the Past. Completing each quest will award 5 Mineas (20 total).

        • Developer's Note: Officially, you had to take these quests from an NPC outside the instance. This likely meant players could mistakenly enter the instance without the quests and complete it for no rewards.

      • Added a trade-in for enchant catalysts to Remorseful Marquis shop. You can trade a Sakray's Wrath/Regret for their Condensed versions, at a 3:1 rate + 450,000z.

      • Added Poenitentia Refine Hammer to Remorseful Marquis and Mei's shop for 20,000,000z or 35 Endeavor Tokens + 20 Mineas.

      • Added Poenitentia Aegis Shield to Poenitentia Refine Hammer (officially not there... for whatever reason).

     

    Features

    • Changes to The Sunken Sands and Juperos Expedition:
      • All mobs have had their RES reduced by an average of 200.

        • Developer's Note: This amounts to a 20% overall increase in damage. MRES has not changed.

      • Pestilent monsters cast level 1 defender when targetted with Crescive Bolt.

        • Developer's Note: With the RES reductions in mind, the overall DPS dealt is slightly increased despite this change.

      • Replaced Primordial Rocker's Parry with a low level Auto Guard.

        • Developer's Note: The chance to proc is around half of Parry's previous chance.

      • Primordial Thief Bug's movespeed has been reduced.

      • Reduced the level of Primordial Andre's Auto Guard.

      • Replaced Ceratiidae Safety Wall for Wall of Fog, with lower chances to proc.

      • Shadow Gear Upgrading function has been moved from Radley to Rydel (jup_cave,207,218).

      • Arachring now spawns inside The Sunken Sands after killing 300 monsters (similar to illusion dungeon MvPs).

      • Increased the amount of Arachring that spawns in Ancient Ruins of Juperos 3 (jup_fild03) from 3 to 5.

      •  Bug Fix Teleport can now be used inside The Sunken Sands.

    •  Community Suggestion Reduced the weight of Blank Card (from Spare Card) to 0.1 (previously 1).
    •  Bug Fix Fixed a bug where locations of ropes on Airship Crash were not being shown.

     

    Items

    •  Bug Fix Fixed Magic Barrier Manteau and Anti Conjurer Suit combo effects.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Purified Holy Water being listed as untradeable.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Convertible Magical Wing not granting magic damage against size.

    •  Bug Fix Fixed Convertible Wings middle headgear combo effects.
      • Developer's Note: Note that these combos only apply to the slotted versions of the middle headgears.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Hero's Badge and Hero Boots-LT enchants combo effects.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Hero's Badge being equippable on the right accessory slot.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Rune Knight Onyx not reducing SP costs.
    •  Bug Fix Juperos Scrap is no longer account bound.

    •  Bug Fix Survival Circlet is no longer account bound.

    •  Bug Fix Fixed Huuma Shuriken - Grasp to use kunai element.

    •  Bug Fix Fixed Metallic Fury to use arrow element.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Dilectio Heal not taking the caster stats into consideration.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed the secondary damage logic on Rose Blossom.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Hack and Slasher (spear) not correctly being considered as ranged.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Infiltrate not correctly being considered as melee.
    •  Bug Fix Fixed Shield Shooting not considering shield weight in its damage formula.

    •  Bug Fix Crescive Bolt will now recover 3 AP after having full stacks.
      • Developer's Note: This means from the 4th cast onwards.

     

    Siege and PvP

    •  Announcement You can read more about the thought process and discuss the following changes on the PvP Revamp Project development blog for this patch cycle.
    • Increased Siege reductions from 90% to 92%.
    • Subtraits now have their effectiveness halved, except for H.PLUS, RES and MRES.
      • P.ATK: Reduced from 1% per point to 0.5% per point

      • S.MATK: Reduced from 1% per point to 0.5% per point

      • C.RATE: Reduced from 1% per point to 0.5% per point

    • Skill changes:

      • 16th Night

        • No longer grants 55% MDEF bypass.

      • Platinum Altar

        • No longer grants 25% DEF bypass.

      • Spirit Marble

        • No longer grants 55% DEF bypass

      • Zen

        • Now has a minimum Fixed Cast Time of 0.5s. This value cannot be reduced.

      • Call Spirits

        • Now has a minimum Fixed Cast Time of 0.1s. This value cannot be reduced.

        • Now adds +100 RES if base STA is 75 or higher.

        • Now adds +50 RES and +100 MRES if worn with Warlord's Manteau.
      • Woe Plate
        • Now grants +5 STA, +3 WIS.
        • Now adds +100 RES if base STA is 75 or higher.
        • Now adds +100 MRES if base WIS is 75 or higher.
        • If refine rate is +6 or higher
          • Adds 10% long range resist.
          • Increased the potion effectiveness from 12% to 20%.
        • If refine rate is +9 or higher, indestructible in battle.
        • WoE Manteau and WoE Greaves combo effects:
          • Decreased Demihuman resistance from 15% to 13%.
          • Now adds 100 RES
          • Now adds 150 MRES
      • Woe Suits
        • Now grants +4 STA, +4 WIS.
        • Now adds +100 RES if base STA is 75 or higher.
        • Now adds +100 MRES if base WIS is 75 or higher.
        • If refine rate is +9 or higher, indestructible in battle.
        • WoE Manteau and WoE Boots combo effects:
          • Decreased Demihuman resistance from 15% to 13%.
          • Now adds 100 RES
          • Now adds 150 MRES
      • Woe Robe
        • Now grants +3 STA, +5 WIS.
        • Now adds +100 RES if base STA is 75 or higher.

    You guys could lower the cost of the enchanemt of Hero boots/badge a bit... a very good farm of someone in the endgame is around 120-140 clusters in 30mins... you need 500 of them, which is around 2hours and a fraction of farm time for a single try... in my eyes it's kind a lot... :/

    Great Patch, Sunken sands is more accessible even if they need to spend more time killing the mob and bringin more items is also apreciate!.

    the only thing they will not implement for sure are the jRO items. well.. tbf, jRO itself is not a ragnarok game anymore. its a different entity than kRO xD
