The aesthetics this time seems like an improvement to me. I mean, in terms of color palettes, it's pleasing to the eyes. Especially, Soul Ascetics, Shinkiro/Shiranui, Sky Emperor, and Spirit Handler. The colors are vibrant and I am guessing the artist/designer instilled some South Korean traditional Hanbok vibe to it? No idea, but it works for me. I assumed that Gravity probably received a lot of backlash and criticism with the previous 4th jobs outfit design.

 

That being said, Night Watch aesthetics seems a bit too much for me, as in too much leather jackets. It's like layers upon layers of jackets. Visually, it looks stifling to me. In this case, less is more. And the hanging crosses are kind of passé, i.e. out of style. The bottom is a copy and paste from Biolo. And those trousers. I mean, it did not for work me with Biolo, and similarly does not work for me with Night Watch.

 

I apologize in advance to the fans of Super Novice class, but Hyper Novice appearance looks... "Peasant-ish"? Not sure the right word to describe it. Especially, the female template. I mean, I can't sense any "Hyper" theme from it. If anything, it appears to be the opposite? Just my 20 pence.

 

On the bright side, the translated skills sounds awesome though. I am hoping there will not be too many catalysts required for these skills, especially Shinkiro/Shiranui and Night Watch. I mean, Ninja/Kagerou/Oborou skills are already "catalyst-heavy" with all the orbs, kunais, shurikens, scrolls, etc. Similarly, Gunslinger/Rebellion class carrying all sorts of heavy duty weapons and ammo for their respective skill trees.

 

It will be a bummer, if all their cool sounding skills need additional requirements to cast. In fact, it's one of the many reasons I avoided these 2 classes because of too much catalysts required with their skills.

Soul Ascetics:

I must say, Soul Ascetic's skills are giving me the Eastern Exorcist vibe. Kind of like those Eastern Wuxia/Manhwa fantasy setting characters. I mean, blue dragon, white tiger, azure phoenix, black turtle? As a fan of Eastern Sorcery themes and the Soul Linker class, I approved of this. Hahaha

I just saw the KRO Sakray Test for Soul Ascetics, Heaven Emperor, Spirit Handler, and Night Watch.

 

I must say, Soul Ascetics is what I expected it to be, in terms of the Eastern-themed skills. The skill animations and graphics are truly colorful and vibrant. I enjoy seeing it being casted. The Four Eastern Holy Beasts and the Healing Tree skill were a treat to the eyes.

 

I was pleasantly surprised by the Heaven Emperor skills. Equally colorful and vibrant. Skill animations and graphics is 9/10 for me. But the mechanics on how it works/ casted seems a bit confusing to me.

 

As for Spirit Handler and Night Watch, it felt like a magnified version of their previous skills? The skill animations and graphics were definitely more dramatic. But after previewing it, I am not as excited about it, mainly because the direction of their skill repertoire is sort of predictable. More bombs, more fire, more "cat stuff".

 

I have yet to see Shinkiro/Shiranui. The testers haven't seem to upload it yet. I am looking forward to see the design and graphics of their skill animation soon.

Changes the shooting stars to the more powerful one, unleashing up to 4 heavenly shooting stars at once
with interval of 0.3 secs within duration of 4.5 secs.
each heavenly Shooting star will inflict melee physical damage with skill range of 7x7 cells.

Enters a state where all celestial bodies unified into one.
Disables all the restrictions of Sunrise/Noon/Sunset/Moonrise/Midnight/Moonset
allowing all skills to be used with maximum effect.
