kRO / jRO Rebel update

Today we got our first look at the update bringing to balance out Rebels and letting their level cap (officially) go to 175. The goal of this update aims to rework how the Rebel class (and the Gunslinger class by extension as their skills will also change) performs in the game.

Here is so far a look at the new and translated skill tree :

Of course as the update came out today, we are still in the process of gathering information and getting data out of it, but we will keep you updated about everything we can find out.

From that page I'll just post my somewhat okay translation of the Gunslinger skills.

 

Quote

Magic Bullet

    Skill changed from an attack skill into a buff skill.

    For 30 seconds you will deal extra magic damage. (Might not apply to skills)

 

Triple Action

    Removed [Chain Action Lvl10] requirement.

 

Bull's Eye

    Removed [Tracking Lvl10] requirement.

 

Adjustments

    Removed [Disarm Lvl5] requirement.

 

Increase Accuracy

    Removed [Snake Eye Lvl10] requirement.

 

Madness Canceller

    Removed [Gatling Fever Lvl10] requirement.

    Now a toggle type skill. (Use skill again to turn the effect off.)

    Coins used per cast reduced from 4 to 1.

 

Tracking

    Halved cast time per level. (1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2.0/2.2/2.4/2.6/2.8/3.0 -> 0.6/0.7/0.8/0.9/1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5)

    Snake eye's range bonus does not apply to this skill.

   

Piercing Shot

    Base damage increased:

        120/140/160/180/200 -> 220/240/260/280/300

    When equipped with a rifle:

        180/210/240/270/300 -> 280/310/340/370/400

 

Chain Action

    Bullets used per cast reduced from 2 to 1.

 

Rapid Shower

    Bullets used per cast reduced from 5 to 1.

 

Dust

    Cast time removed.

 

Full Buster

    Bullets used per cast reduced to 2 at every level.

 

Spread Attack

    Damage increased:

        220/240/260/280/300/320/340/360/380/400 -> 230/260/290/320/350/380/410/440/470/550

    Cast time removed.

    SP cost drecreased.

        15/20/25/30/35/40/45/50/55/60 -> 13/16/19/22/25/28/31/34/37/40/45/50/55/60

 

Ground Drift

    Sphere bullets have been removed. (Might be a wrong translation of this sentence).

    New bullets with 5 different properties - Flare Bullet, Lightning Bullet, Ice Bullet, Poison Bullet and Blinding Bullet. (IDs 13228, 13229, 13230, 13231, 13232)

    These bullets are similar to the spheres of the same name.

    These bullets can also be used with all skills instead of being restricted like Spheres.

    There's an NPC that you can trade your Sphere bullets to.

    SP cost decreased:

        4/8/12/16/20/24/28/32/36/40 -> 3/5/9/12/15/18/21/24/27/30

 

I had given an attempt of translating the rebellion skills earlier but my knowledge/level of korean isn't that great.

You translated everything very well, I really like the tree changes (finally reduced the pre-requisites to not get useless skills to certain builds).

Gunslinger skills looks more powerful now, maybe will be rebalanced again, the system changes (like Magical Bullet, Ground Drift, etc) open new options of builds.

 

But wtf in some changes! Like Rapid Shower Bullet Consumption reduced to 1, sooooooooo Gunslinger do 5 shots with only 1 bullet wow .-.

Well, it is jRO, whie thei damage may be absurd-looking, it actually tells a lot about delays and coin consumption, along other *COUGH* FALLEN ANGEL *cough* things
