Loki's Path is an alternative set of challenge game modes, with varying rule sets that modifies how you play and interact with the game.

All Loki's Paths players, on any of its game modes, coexist on the same single NovaRO server. Each of these modes will require a fresh new account. You can create yours here.

Hel's Path

A path for naive adventurers who are eager to prove their worth. Hel awaits you, shall you falter for even a single moment during your perilous journey. As seen from other games' Hardcore Mode, Hel's Path allows you a single life.

As soon as you die, you're out. You will only be able to count on people following this pathway, meaning you are unable to trade or party with anyone not following Hel's Path by any means.

Mechanics

  • You have access to all standard storages.
  • You have a single life. Once your character dies, you will be considered as Dead and sent to the Graveyard.
    • At the Graveyard, there is a possibility of converting your Hardcore account into a regular account. Doing so removes any identifier that the account was ever a Hardcore account.
    • Keep in mind that this process is irreversible and the whole account will be converted, regardless of which character.
  • Teleport commands, such as @go, @return or @load are disabled.
  • You are unable to drop items to the ground.
  • You are unable to pick up mob drops from the ground, except from monsters you have killed.
  • You are unable to pick up items dropped by other players.
    • You are able to pick items from the ground in instances, such as OGH and Infinite Space.
  • You are only able to trade with other characters of the Hel's Path.
  • You are unable to buy or sell items through player shops.
  • You are unable to receive RODEX messages from other players, but you can receive and open server and NPC messages.
  • You are unable to be in a Guild or join a different Clan.
    • Every Hel's Path character automatically joins an exclusive clan.
  • You may only party with other Hel's Path players.
  • Most events or quests that would outright kill you, such as the Slot Machine or the Umbala Death Jump will not kill, but leave you seriously injured.

Sleipnir's Path

A path for seasoned veterans, Sleipnir will ride you through the skies and seas, to the realm of the dead and back. While following Sleipnir's Path, you are unable to trade, party or obtain help from anyone.

Fear not of death, however be wary, for the only person you can rely upon is no other than yourself.

Mechanics

  • You cannot access account storages, the bank or any other account progression tools which directly influences a single character's power.
    • Each character on the account will have access to their own character storage.
  • Teleport commands, such as @go, @return or @load are disabled.

Fenrir's Path

A path for individuals whose great pride will be their biggest harness of all. Fenrir's Path, inherits properties from both Hel and Sleipnir, rendering you not only unable to come back after you meet your end, but also entirely isolated.

When you start on the Fenrir's Path, you will understand the true meaning of fear. Do you have what it takes to triumph over these seemingly impossible restraints?
