Rebellion is the final upgrade of Gunslinger class. They specialize in using a wide variety of firearms such as Revolvers, Rifles, Shotguns, Gatling Guns, and Grenade Launchers, dealing ranged physical damage. They can also apply debuffs and lay down traps to impede enemies. Rebellions are highly specified as a damage dealer and fares well in parties, although they can be effective for solo farming as well, making this class suitable for players who are new to Ragnarok Online.

Builds

Stats

  • STR - Increases ATK, but not as much as DEX, since Rebellions use Ranged Weapons. Also increases carry weight. Recommended: 90 for Heroic Backpack (HBP) bonus.
  • AGI - Increases ASPD and FLEE. 100 Total AGI will make you immune to Sleep. Recommended: 90-120 depending on how much you need to reach 193 ASPD.
  • VIT - Increases HP. 100 Total VIT will make you immune to Stun. Recommended: ~90 or however much you need to reach 100 total VIT.
  • INT - Increases SP. 100 Total INT will make you immune to Silence. Recommended: 30+ if in party. Take more INT if you feel like you're running out of SP too often.
  • DEX - Increases ATK and HIT. This is your most important stat.Recommended: 120 to maximize damage.
  • LUK - Increases ATK, Crit chance, Perfect Dodge. Recommended: 30+ or whatever points you have left over.

500.png Coin Flip 5 Self Buff Consume 1 Zeny to flip a coin. If heads, gain 1 coin. If tails, lose 1 coin. User can gain a maximum of 10 coins. Higher skill level increases chance of flipping heads. Prerequisite for Rich's Coin, Flicker, Crimson Marker.
506.png Increase Accuracy 1 Self Buff Consume 4 coins to gain 20 Hit, 4 AGI, and 4 DEX for 60 seconds.
507.png Magical Bullet 1 Self Buff Consume 1 coin to include MATK in the user's regular attacks for 30 seconds.
503.png Madness Canceller 1 Self Buff Consume 1 coin to gain +100 ATK and +20% ASPD, and become immobilized for 15 seconds. Cannot be used with Adjustment and Heat Barrel.
505.png Adjustment 1 Self Buff Consume 2 coins to gain Flee +30, reduce ranged physical attack damage by 20%, and reduce Hit by 30 for 30 seconds. Can not be used with Madness Canceller.
508.png Cracker 1 Offensive Consume 1 coin to inflict Stun. Increase chances of inflicting Stun if the user is closer to the target.
503.png Bull's Eye 1 Offensive Consume 1 coin to deal 500% damage on Demi Human and Brute enemies. Has 0.1% chance to inflict Coma on all enemies, except Boss protocol enemies.
501.png Fling 1 Offensive, debuff Consume up to 5 coins to inflict damage and reduce the target's Defense. Reduce more Defense if more coins are spent.
502.png Triple Action 1 Offensive Consume 1 coin to shoot an enemy 3 times in one attack.
515.png Rapid Shower 10 Revolver/Pistol Consume 1 bullet to rapidly fire 5 shots, inflicting 550% ~ 1000% ATK damage.
516.png Desperado 10 Revolver/Pistol Consume 10 bullets to deal (100% ~ 550% ATK) damage in a 7x7 AoE centered around the caster. Each cast has a maximum of 10 strikes. Desperado damage is doubled if cast within 2 seconds after using Rebellion class skill Fallen Angel. Prerequisite for Fallen Angel, Fire Dance.
514.png Piercing Shot 5 Rifle, Revolver/Pistol, debuff Deal defense-piercing damage and has a 3% ~ 15% chance to inflict Bleeding. If used with Revolver, deals 220% ~ 300% ATK. If used with Rifle, deals 280% ~ 400% ATK. Prerequisite for Mass Spiral.
513.png Disarm 5 Rifle, Revolver/Pistol, debuff Has 3% ~ 15% chance to render a target incapable of attacking. When used against monsters, Disarm decreases their ATK by 25%. Higher skill level, and user's and target's DEX affects the chance of effect. Does not affect Boss monsters. Prerequisite for Shattering Storm.
512.png Tracking 10 Rifle, Revolver/Pistol Deal (300% ~ 1200% ATK) ranged physical damage. Higher skill level increases cast time and SP cost.
518.png Dust 10 Shotgun Deal 150% ~ 600% ATK damage on a target in melee range, and knocks it 5 cells backwards. Dust can not be blocked by Pneuma. Prerequisite for Shattering Storm.
519.png Full Buster 10 Shotgun Fires 2 ~ 10 bullets on a target to inflict (400% ~ 1300% ATK) ranged physical damage. Has 2% ~ 20% chance to inflict Blind on the user. Higher skill level increases cast delay and SP cost.
520.png Spread Attack 10 Shotgun, Grenade Launcher Consume 5 bullets/5 spheres to deal (230% ~ 550% ATK) damage in a 3x3 ~ 9x9 AoE centered on a target.
521.png Ground Drift 10 Grenade Launcher Consume 1 sphere and plants it on a targeted location. Triggering the sphere will cause it to explode and deal ranged physical damage. Higher skill level increases the damage bonus (50 ~ 500), duration (3 ~ 30 seconds), and SP cost. Prerequisite for Howling Mine.
517.png Gatling Fever 10 Gatling Gun, self buff Increase ATK by 30 ~ 120, ASPD by 2% ~ 20%, reduce Flee by 5 ~ 50, and temporarily reduce movement speed. Higher skill level increases the duration (30 ~ 165 seconds) and SP cost. Recast this skill to cancel it. Prerequisite for Fire Rain.

2552.png Rich's Coin 1 Self Buff Consume 100 Zeny to instantly generate 10 coins. After learning Rich's Coin, Coin Flip will not consume coins upon failure. Prerequisite for Platinum Altar, Heat Barrel.
2563.png Platinum Altar 5 Self Buff Consume all coins to increase ATK and apply a barrier on the user for 30 ~ 90 seconds. Higher skill level affects the amount of ATK bonus, and the durability of the barrier (5% ~ 25% of MaxHP). Can only be cast when equipping Holy property ammuniton. Platinum Altar is cancelled if the user changes to a non-Holy property ammunition, or if the user is hit by Holy Light. Cannot be used with Heat Barrel.
2568.png Heat Barrel 5 Self Buff Consumes all coins to increase ATK, gain ASPD +1 ~ +5, and reduce Hit by 30 ~ 50 for 60 seconds. Higher skill level increases ATK bonus. Heat Barrel will be cancelled if the user changes equipment. Cannot be used with Madness Canceller or Platinum Altar.
2560.png Crimson Marker 1 Debuff, single target Consume 1 coin to apply a Crimson Marker that lasts for 50 seconds on a target. Can be applied on up to 3 targets at a time. Marked targets receive more damage from Quick Draw Shot, Dragon Tail, and Hammer of God. The user can track the marked target on the mini map. Prerequisite for Dragon Tail.
2559.png Quick Draw Shot 1 Offensive Can only be cast after Chain Action is activated. Performs additional attacks on a target. Caster's Job Level affects the number of additional attacks performed. If there are targets afflicted by Crimson Marker within 21x21 AoE around the caster, those targets will receive 2 addiional hits. (Tip: you can use the /q2 command and bind this skill to F7/F8 then spam it with your mouse's scroll wheel. You can also use the turbo command instead. See NovaExt).
2558.png Eternal Chain 10 Self Buff Consume 1 coin to enable Chain Action to activate regardless of weapon type equipped, for 45 ~ 180 seconds. The level of Chain Action that triggers is determined by the level of Eternal Chain used.
2556.png Flicker 1 Skill Trigger Detonates the user's Howling Mine and Bound Trap on screen. Prerequisite for Bound Trap.
2555.png Bound Trap 5 Debuff, ground-targeting Consume 1 coin and 1 Special Alloy Trap to lay a 3x3 ~ 7x7 AoE trap on the ground that will significantly reduce enemies' movement speed. The trap remains on the ground for 10 ~ 14 seconds. Duration of movement speed reduction is affected by the target's STR. Casting Flicker on targets affected by Bound Trap will cancel the trap and deal additional damage on targets. Only one Bound Trap can be active at a time.
2564.png Fallen Angel 1 Revolver, mobility Consume 1 coin to instantly move to a targeted location. Fallen Angel will fail if there is an obstacle in your way. For 2 seconds after using Fallen Angel, the damage of Desperado is doubled.
2561.png Fire Dance 5 Revolver Consume 5 bullets to deal (200% ~ 1000% ATK) damage in a 5x5 AoE centered on the caster. Desperado skill level increases Fire Dance damage.
2567.png Fire Rain 5 Gatling Gun Consume 10 bullets to deal 3800% ~ 5000% damage in a 3x10 AoE in front of you. Fire Rain has 20% ~ 40% chance of nullifying ground-based skills in its AoE. Prerequisite for Round Trip.
2565.png Round Trip 5 Gatling Gun Consume 5 bullets to deal 1300% ~ 2500% damage in 7x7 ~ 13x13 AoE, and knocking back enemies. If enemies are knocked back into a wall, they will receive additional damage.
2553.png Mass Spiral 5 Rifle Consume 1 Full Metal Jacket to deal (200% ~ 1000%) damage and inflict additional damage according to the target's DEF. Has a high chance to inflict Bleeding on the target. Prerequisite for Anti Material Blast.
2569.png Anti Material Blast 5 Rifle Deals damage on a target and has a 30% ~ 70% chance to reduce the target's Demi Human resistance by 10% ~ 50% for 6 ~ 10 seconds. Prerequisite for Hammer of God.
2571.png Hammer of God 5 Rifle, ground-targeting Summon the Hammer of God on the targeted location and deal 4200% ~ 9800% damage, and inflicts Stun on targets hit, which will last for 3 ~ 5 seconds. If there is a target afflicted with Crimson Marker in the targeted area, Hammer of God deals damage on the target and enemies in a 5x5 AoE around the target. Hammer of God deals less damage if there is no target afflicted by Crimson Marker.
2557.png Shattering Storm 5 Shotgun Deals 1900% ~ 2700% damage on a target and enemies in 5x5 ~ 7x7 AoE around the target, and break their headgear. Chances of breaking headgear are affected by caster's DEX, skill level, and target's AGI. Shattering Storm does not affect unbreakable equipment, or equipment protected by Chemical Protection. Prerequisite for Banishing Buster.
2554.png Banishing Buster 5 Shotgun Inflict 2300% ~ 3500% damage on a target and has a 60% ~ 100% chance to remove magic effects from the target. Prerequisite for Slug Shot.
2570.png Slug Shot 5 Shotgun Consume 1 Slug Bullet to deal 1200% ~ 6000% damage on monsters, 2000% ~ 10000% damage on players. A target hit by Slug Shot will be Stunned. Heavier bullet will increase Slug Shot damage. The accuracy of Slug Shot is decreased if the user is more than 3 cells away from the target (Hit -10 ~ Hit -6 for every cell beyond 3 cells).
2562.png Howling Mine 5 Grenade Launcher Consume 1 Mine Projectile to fire a sticking bomb at a target, and deal 400% ~ 1200% damage. If the caster uses Flicker, Howling Mine will detonate, dealing 800% ~ 2000% explosion damage on the target and all enemies in range. If Howling Mine is not detonated after 30 seconds, it will fall off from the target. Targets damaged by Howling Mine have a chance to be inflicted by Burning. Prerequisite for Dragon Tail.
2566.png Dragon Tail 5 Grenade Launcher Consume Dragon Tail Missiles, and launch them at all targets on screen marked by Crimson Marker, dealing 5000% ~ 9000% damage, divided among all marked targets. Dragon Tail cannot be activated if there are no targets marked by Crimson Marker.

When attacking (melee or ranged), there is a 1% chance to recover 4% of your damage as SP.

Drains 10 HP every 5 seconds while equipped.
HP and SP recovery amount is doubled if +9 or above.

Your main farming headgear. Coupled with an Incubus Pet at Loyal intimacy, you should never be running out of SP.

Perhaps you didn't like how the Gangster Scarf looked.
Samurai Mask Lower Military Headgear Box Increases ATK by 1%. For those of you with high-end atk, Samurai Mask may give you more ATK than Gangster Scarf/Pirate Dagger.
Well-Chewed Pencil Lower Nova Shop DEX +2, HIT +3% Take if you need more HIT. The DEX also does provide a bit of damage, but not as much as Gangster Scarf/Pirate Dagger.

When killing monsters, adds a chance to have a poisonous herb drop.
Downside to having this card is that poisonous herbs are relatively useless and might clog up your inventory if you're farming. Would not recommend if you have other gear that give additional drops (Red Lantern, Plasma Card, etc.) due to the fact that there is currently a 10-item limit on additional drops.

When performing physical attacks, chance of gaining +100 CRIT.
Good for crit builds if you don't have enough crit chance.

Abusive Robe [1] Buy with Honor Tokens Ignore 4% physical defense of Demihuman, Undead, and Demon when performing a physical attack per upgrade level of the item.
Enables Level 1 Improved Concentration.
Most instances have Demihiman, Undead, or Demon bosses, which makes this worth investing in. If +7 or higher, you can also enchant this with AGI, LUK, or DEX.
Excellion Suit Charleston Crisis VIT + 6.
If level 130 or above, additional VIT + 4.
Increase Max HP by 4% for every 3 refine upgrades.
While this description doesn't seem to be useful, what you really want is STR/ATK/ATK Supplements (like enchants) on it, and +7 if possible to make the most use out of the STR Supplement.

Take this card if you don't need more survivability.
Evil Druid Card Enchant Armor with the Undead Property.
INT + 1, DEF + 1
By being Undead Property, you become immune to Stone Curse and Freeze status. You also become unable to receive some AB buffs and heals, and weak to Fire/Holy damage.
Take this if you have a Minstrel or Wanderer in your party who can Resurrect you with Death Valley, and you're running something that Stone Curses. ABs can also still Res you with Redemptio.
Marc Card Gain protection from the Freeze status and increase resistance to Water Property by 5%. If you only want Freeze immunity without having the anti-AB drawbacks, you can use Marc card instead. Alternatively just use a Porcellio card and tell your AB to Status Recovery you or Lauda when you're frozen.
STR Supplement Blueprint ATK +5 for every 10 base STR. When refine rate is 7 or higher, add an additional ATK +10 Not actually a card. This can be put into Excellion Suit by bringing your Excellion Suit and a STR Supplement Blueprint to MARS_01 in Verus.

You can only put 1 of these into an Excellion Suit, but will give you the most damage.

Recommended that you get your Excellion Suit to +7 before putting it in, since you cannot unslot Reactor/Blueprints.

You can get this blueprint from PLUTO_09 by exchanging 5 Old Fuel Tanks.

Attack Supplement Blueprint ATK +20. Not actually a card. This can be put into Excellion Suit by bringing your Excellion Suit and a Attack Supplement Blueprint to MARS_01 in Verus.

Not as much ATK as the STR Supplement, but you can put multiple of these into your Excellion Suit.

For maximum damage, use 1 STR Supplement Blueprint and 2 Attack Supplement Blueprint in your Suit.

You can get this blueprint from PLUTO_09 by exchanging 5 Old Fuel Tanks.

ASPD Supplement Blueprint ASPD + 1 Not actually a card. This can be put into Excellion Suit by bringing your Excellion Suit and a ASPD Supplement Blueprint to MARS_01 in Verus.

Not recommended unless you're hardstuck at 192 ASPD somehow. You can only put one of these in your Suit.

Remember that you cannot unslot Reactor/Blueprints, so if you want to change Reactors you will need a new Excellion Suit.

Frozen Supplement Blueprint Frozen Immunity Not actually a card. This can be put into Excellion Suit by bringing your Excellion Suit and a Frozen Supplement Blueprint to MARS_01 in Verus.

You can have a good Excellion Suit with 1 STR Supplement Blueprint , 1 Attack Supplement Blueprint , and 1 Frozen Supplement Blueprint .

Remember that you cannot unslot Reactor/Blueprints, so if you want to change Reactors you will need a new Excellion Suit.

Best garment for damage. This garment is the reason why you should take at least 90 STR. Useless before +7 though, unless you just want to cast Greed for some reason on our server which has Autoloot enabled. :v
Giant Snake Skin [1] Faceworm's Nest MDEF +10

MaxHP +15% and MaxSP +5% when equipped with Temporal Boots.

Drops pre-enchanted from Faceworm Queen's Nest. Get one preferably +9 or higher, with Dex or Agi enchants.

Cards

Card Description Notes
Menblatt Card Every 10 point of base DEX increases long-ranged attack damage by 1%. Since you should be taking 120 DEX, this increases your ranged damage (which is pretty much everything you do) by 12%.
Aunoe Card Inflict 20% more damage with Critical attacks. For crit builds, may or may not be better than Menblatt Card, depending on your other gears.

HIT + 5. Increases after-cast delay by 10%.
Increases long range damage by 30%.
A decent pistol to use if you don't want to have to refine.

You can get the slotted version by attempting to socket it through Seiyablem with 5 Oridecon , 10 Steel , 2,000,000 Zeny, and an unslotted Altea and Ares .

Calf Deathadder [2] Pistol Elite Buffalo Bandit Increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack by 10%).
Increase long ranged physical damage by 5% per 2 refine rate.
If refine rate is 7 or higher, increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack by additional 5%).
If refine rate is 9 or higher, increases Fire Dance damage by 25%.
If refine rate is 12 or higher, increases long ranged physical damage by 5%.
Best gun for Fire Dance builds if you can get it to +9 or higher.

However, it's perfectly alright to just go for boots with the Hawk Eyes enchant and can have other enchants as a cheaper alternative.

Temporal Boots of Luck
