Utility is one of the roles you can get in Monster Hunter 2 (MH2) via Role Manager (162, 196) on The Wyvern (@go 39). Utility role provides support in an unconventional way by utilizing different types of Porings and tools to inflict various debuffs. Utility is capped at 1 per MH2 party and is not limited to any class.
|Resourceful||Passive||Flash Bomb, Large Barrel Bomb, and Shock Trap have shorter cast time and has a 25% chance of not being consumed upon use|
|Release Bombring||Active||Releases a Bombring in the chosen direction which explodes upon reaching its maximum range. When colliding with an enemy, it stops moving and starts the countdown for explosion. Damage is based on caster's DEX and LUK|
|Set Sleepring||Active||Sends a Sleepring to a target cell which explodes in 10 seconds. Damages enemies around it and puts them to sleep. Sleeping monsters take more damage and wakes up when they take damage. Damage is based on caster's DEX and LUK|
|Set Dizzyring||Active||Sends a Dizzyring to a target cell which explodes in 10 seconds. Damages enemies around it and causes them to move randomly. Damage is based on caster's DEX and LUK|
|Megaton Bombring||Active||Transforms the user into Megaton Bombring. Attacking triggers an explosion to damage all enemies surrounding the user. Enemies caught in the explosion gets damage amplification debuff. Damage is based on caster's DEX and LUK|
